Solution to the seven paintings puzzle
About five hours in on the first disc you'll find a room with seven paintings, each with a switch below it. In order to solve the puzzle you must press the switches below each painting in the correct order. Below is the order in which this must be done.
1. Painting of the Woman
2. Man with two babies
3. Man by himself
4. Man with plate
5. Man with book
6. Man with candle
7. Big painting
Get the rocket launcher
To obtain the rocket launcher (NOT the linear launcher which is the weapon used at the end of the game) finish the game with a rank S. To acquire an S ranking, you CANNOT save and retry (basically you cannot die or reset the game at anytime) and you CANNOT use health canisters to heal yourself. You must also give the black man at the start of the game the antitoxin and you must save Steve quickly when he takes the golden guns in disc 1. Also you must finish the game within 5 hours.
Linear Launcher
Get an A ranking with the two Claires, Steve, Chris and Wesker in the Battle Game to unlock the Linear Launcher. Once you gain it, it will automatically appear in your inventory when you begin the Battle Game again.
Unlock Albert Wesker
Complete the Battle Game with Chris Redfield.
Unlock Steve in Battle Game
Solve a puzzle in the main game. In the underground Save Room in Chris' walkthrough, complete the drawer puzzle in the corner. Grab the Gold Luger to unlock Mr. Burnside.
Shoot the screen
This is a very obscure cheat I noticed recently. This is sort of like the Re2 cheat where you can shoot the camera. You have to be where you've had Chris and now have Claire again, a little before you meet the Steve-Monster. You go past the first tentacle then get to the second one. Line up so that you only see Claire's back and she is very near to the tentacle (but not within its reach). Take out the grenade launcher, arm the normal rounds and fire at the tentacle. If you do it right the tentacle's green blood should splatter on the camera. Once you move Claire it goes away.
Infinite Shotgun Rounds
Enter the room with the 2 paintings of the British Captain and the Facility Model, then go down the ladder and go back up. When you come back up, the shotgun rounds will be behind the pedestal. Go out through the door and return back to the room. Go down the ladder, go back up the ladder and the shotgun rounds will re-appear. Do this as many times as you want.
D.I.J.'s journal
You find D.I.J.'s journal in the slot machine in battle mode. Sometimes you have to play more than once to find it.
D.I.J.'s identity
The person who wrote the D.I.J. diary is Alfred Ashford's butler. You can find this out by reading the butler's letter found in Claire's section of Antarctica.
D.I.J.'s REAL identity
Read the D.I.J. journal carefully and you'll find that D.I.J. is really a mouse! Pay attention to when Claire Gets trapped by the shudder just before Alfred talks to her on the intercom. And, the mouse in the locker on the antarctic base? D.I.J. Is NOT the butler. Did you see a butler in the cargo plane? Nope.

Successfully complete the game on the hard difficulty setting to unlock an Epilogue. Epilogues are a short diary description of each character in the entire Resident Evil series which describes what happened with that specific person after their adventure. Successfully complete the game on the hard difficulty setting eight times to unlock all Epilogues. All eight Epilogues read as followed:

Mercenaries: Time Bonuses
In the mercenaries game, you beat the monsters to get extra time. The BIG monsters give BIG time, as follows.
Nemesis (standard) - KO 10 seconds
Nemesis (standard) - Kill 20 seconds
Nemesis (mutated) - Kill 120 seconds
The only place where I have found the mutant nemesis, is in the car park area outside the garage. It takes 5 rocket launcher shells as a minimum.
On the area where there are alot of Zombies (the y-shaped alley) shoot the 1st zombie cop as you come through the door, then, peg it down the alley to lure the zombies to you. When they are quite close, press R2 (make sure you are 2 screens from the RED BARREL) and shoot. You can get a maximum of a 90 second bonus.
To get a better grade, and some extra ammo, rescue the people who are trapped in the mercenaries game. Try looking in the garage, the press office, the substation, the medical store place (with the safsprin door!) and some other key places in the game.

The Mercenaries: Operation Mad Jackal
To unlock "The Mercenaries" mini-game, complete the game at any difficulty.
The object of the mini-game is to get from the Trolley to the starting point in Uptown within a limited amount of time. Additional time is awarded for killing monsters (and rescuing) people along the way.

Answer for computer in Sales Office
When you go in the Sales Office there is a computer on the desk you will need a code for. To get the code use the remote on the table and watch the ad on TV. The name of the product is the code. Here are the product names. One of these will open the door: ADRAVIL, AQUACURE or SAFSPRIN.
Boutique Key
To acquire the Boutique Key, which unlocks the Boutique in Uptown (where all the extra outfits are), finish the game in less than 7 hours using no more than 30 Ink Ribbons.
Defeating Final Nemesis
When confronting the final boss,(Nemesis' final transformation) make him retreat into the corner from where he came from by your rocket launcher, and grenades, then you have to get the cannon online by PUSHING IN the three power sources, marked 1, 2, 3. When that is done, fire the cannon to dispose of the debris, then it will automatically fire again, at Nemesis. You then have the choice to finish him off yourself (this is an FMV!) or just running.
Design Chronos Gear
Combine the Gold Gear from the Clock Goddess Puzzle with the Silver Gear. The Chronos gear is used to activate clock bells. Insert it into the bell mechanism on the third floor of the Clock Tower.
Explosive Shotgun Shells
If you mix eight gunpowder B's, shotgun rounds, you will have enough experience to create the explosive shotgun shells. Which is one of the best ammo's you can get.
General Nemesis Tips
If you take on Nemesis the best strategy is to run by his right side. He is a lefty so he will always try to grab or pummel you into submission with his left hand. Once you're a little ways behind him (make sure it's not too far otherwise he will run at you, then your in trouble) take a shot and run by him again. Keep doing this until he falls over. He will get back up so continue until you see the purple blood from his body. If your playing HARD mode make sure you pick up the item.
Get the Grenade Launcher in the Policestation
If you go into the save room before you go to the police station and mix the A and B gunpowder on the shelf to make C and then mix it with the gunpowder A that you got at the warehouse and then combine it with your reloading tool to make grenade flame rounds you will always get the grenade launcher in the S.T.A.R.S. room.
Infinite Money Trick
Use this method to get all the infinite-ammo weapons and infinite weapons pack. In the mercinary mode go to the area with the dumpster and the hop skotch paintings (the one right behind the bar.) Go up the steps and take a right. You will then go north until you get to the fork. Go through the door and you will be in the deadend alley that is boarded up by red and white boards. This can be done with all 3 mecinaries. There are three dogs here. First kill 2 dogs immediately. Then lure the remaining dog to where the boards are stacked up. Climb up onto the boards. Go to the opposite end and watch as the dog makes attempts to jump at you. Take a small step forward and press R1 right before he jumps. Your character will jump backwards and get a dodge bonus. Immediately after the character dodges, press R1 again to pick up a combo for your dodge bonus. Repeat this process to rack up tons of money and time. It takes time, but it is sure worth it.
Max grenade launcher ammo glitch
With this code you can put more than 6 rounds into your grenade launcher at once. If you have 6 fire rounds in your grenade launcher, and you have 138 regular rounds in your item box, combine the ammo onto the grenade launcher with the fire ammo in it (it works with any ammo as long as the two are different) and the 6 fire ammo should be in your item box and the 138 in your gun! No reloading.
Solve Clock Goddess Puzzle
The object of the Clock Goddess Puzzle is to get the center clock in the Clock Tower to read twelve o’clock. Collect the Amber, Crystal and Obsidian gems from the statues and go to the three clocks on the opposite wall. Facing the clocks, place the Amber gem into the Past clock, the Obsidian into the Present clock, and the Crystal into the Future clock. If done correctly, the Present clock will open, revealing a Gold Gear, a Mercenaries Pocketbook (next to the bodies in the corner) and M.T. rounds (in the alcove).

Max grenade launcher ammo glitch
With this code you can put more than 6 rounds into your grenade launcher at once. If you have 6 fire rounds in your grenade launcher, and you have 138 regular rounds in your item box, combine the ammo onto the grenade launcher with the fire ammo in it (it works with any ammo as long as the two are different) and the 6 fire ammo should be in your item box and the 138 in your gun! No reloading.
Solve Clock Goddess Puzzle
The object of the Clock Goddess Puzzle is to get the center clock in the Clock Tower to read twelve o’clock. Collect the Amber, Crystal and Obsidian gems from the statues and go to the three clocks on the opposite wall. Facing the clocks, place the Amber gem into the Past clock, the Obsidian into the Present clock, and the Crystal into the Future clock. If done correctly, the Present clock will open, revealing a Gold Gear, a Mercenaries Pocketbook (next to the bodies in the corner) and M.T. rounds (in the alcove).

Quake 3: Arena Sega Dreamcast cheats
Cheat mode
Successfully complete the game on any difficulty setting to unlock a maze mini-game on the VMU. Successfully complete the maze-mini game to unlock a cheat on the cheat menu. To access the cheat menu, pause the game and choose the "Settings" selection, then scroll down past the "Internet" selection and choose the "Cheats" selection. Depending on what difficulty the game was completed on will depend on what cheat was unlocked. Complete the game on different difficulty settings to unlock different cheats.
Select map
The following code require a Dreamcast keyboard. Start an offline multi-player match with human players, then press ~ to display the console screen at the map, time, and frag selection screen. Type ";map dc_map[01-24]" to begin the match at the indicated level.
Alternate Capture The Flag commentary
Enter multi-player mode, select player one for your controller, and make the rest of the players CPU-controlled. Select "Capture the Flag" as your game. Set up your player's name so that the word "ass" appears along with any other word. For example, dumb ass, big ass, etc. In Capture The Flag, the CPU leader when giving you commands will call you by another form of the word. For example, dumb heinie, dumb bum, dumb bottom, etc. This will not affect the outcome of the game.
Hidden Music
To play some hidden Quake 3 music turn on the Dreamcast without a CD in or with the lid open. At the Menu choose the music option, then insert the Quake 3 disk. An image of the disk will appear and tracks 4 - 19 will play music from the game.

Depending on what difficulty the game was completed on will depend on what cheat was unlocked. Complete the game on different difficulty settings to unlock different cheats.
Select map
The following code require a Dreamcast keyboard. Start an offline multi-player match with human players, then press ~ to display the console screen at the map, time, and frag selection screen. Type ";map dc_map[01-24]" to begin the match at the indicated level.
Alternate Capture The Flag commentary
Enter multi-player mode, select player one for your controller, and make the rest of the players CPU-controlled. Select "Capture the Flag" as your game. Set up your player's name so that the word "ass" appears along with any other word. For example, dumb ass, big ass, etc. In Capture The Flag, the CPU leader when giving you commands will call you by another form of the word. For example, dumb heinie, dumb bum, dumb bottom, etc. This will not affect the outcome of the game.
Hidden Music
To play some hidden Quake 3 music turn on the Dreamcast without a CD in or with the lid open. At the Menu choose the music option, then insert the Quake 3 disk. An image of the disk will appear and tracks 4 - 19 will play music from the game.
Cheat Codes
The following codes require a Dreamcast keyboard. While playing a game, press ~ to display the console screen. Type ";raster 1" to unlock all commands. Power Stone 2 Sega Dreamcast cheats
Unlock options in extra option menu
Every time basic mode is completed with a different character a new option will be unlocked, until the extra option menu is full.
Play as Pride
Successfully complete basic mode with seven different characters. He looks like an old Fokker, but has different moves.
Play as Mel
Successfully complete basic mode with eight different characters. She is the girl from shop mode and fights similarly to Julia.
100,000 credits for shop mode
If during the course of the game you manage to pick up item #103, which resembles a red turban, sell it for 100,000 credits in shop mode. This item seems to appear randomly.
Full pause screen
Pause the game and press X + Y.
More Arenas
Successfully complete basic mode with all characters, including Mel and Pride to unlock three new arenas exclusive to original mode. To access them, move the pointer left or right at the arena selection screen until it is off-screen. A large box with the "Extra Arena" message will appear. Select the desired extra arena. The arenas are a small room, a very narrow bridge over along drop, and a geometric (cubes stacked in weird patterns) arena.
Shop Mode
At the beginning of the game where the logo Power Stone 2 starts to appear, quickly repeated press Start, X, Y, X, Y, Start, X, X, Start and when you hear a sound of a bird chirping, that means you have recieved all of the items in the shop window.
Use the MegaMan Buster as the Strongest Weapon
When you gain access to the MegaMan Buster, set it to a MiniBook Item(so you have a better chance of getting it). After getting it in the game, hold down the attack button for about a minute (until the light waves turn red). Then shoot, you should be able to get some one out of their transform state(because the shot is so strong).
NOTE: This gun can shoot four times, but when the Gun is fully charged it still has four shots, so dont worry about the gun energy.
Beating the Pharoh Walker
Use a character who is very acrobatic (Falcon works best), then, when fighting the sphinx, try to survive until it crouches down to spin. If you move quickly, you can jump on its' back to avoid the spin, and if you hit the guy in its' tail, you can jump into his seat and use the laser to shoot it in the head, taking up to 1/5 of its' life.

Extra Options
Successfully complete arcade mode as any character under any difficulty setting. An "Extra Options" selection will be available.
Play as Boss characters
Successfully complete the game with all of the characters to unlock Kraken. Successfully complete the game as Kraken to unlock Valgas. Note: To play as Final Valgas, successfully complete the game as Valgas without using continues under any difficulty setting. Enter the page 12 of the Power Stone Collection to see Final Valgas. Note: Final Valgas may only be selected in versus mode, by only one player per match.
Virtua battle mode
Unlock Valgas as a playable character. Virtua battle mode will be available on page 5 in the Power Stone Collection. This mode allows the camera to stay behind your character during a match.
Dual Virtua battle mode
Successfully complete the game as Valgas to unlock this mode on page 6 in the Power Stone Collection. This mode allows a versus mode game to be played with the Virtua battle mode camera angle on each part of the split screen.

Invincibility
Go to extra options (once you beat the game with someone) and turn transformation damage to 0%. Then just go into a match, collect three powerstones and perform the power change. You are invincible as long as you don't attack him. So just throw things at the opponent instead.
Beat Final Valgas in a Snap!
Here is an easier way to beat the Final Valgas. Just simply go under his armpit (as bad as that sounds...) and keep making small attacks. You should be able to kill him before he does you.

After unlocking all the "Extra Options" highlight "Guage Timer" and put it on Off. Then highlight "Transformation Damage" and put this on 0%. Then highlight "Transformation Attack" and put this on 200%. Now enter a fight and collect all the "Power Stones" you should now be Invincibile and have Super Strength. NOTE: This also works in Power Stone 2.
No damage
Enable "Extra Options" code. Enter the extra options screen and set "Transformation Damage" to "0%". Start another match, collect three gems, and transform. Do not use any regular attacks on your opponent after transforming. Instead, throw objects to keep from getting damage.

Successfully complete challenge mode with an "S-Rank" to have the ability to re-name the suffixes of any weapon in the game.

This trick is best used when you want peace and quiet. Load the game, then click on "Dressing Room". Press the power button on your Dreamcast. When you turn the Dreamcast on again and load up your character, the game will ask you to re-enter your serial number and access key. This has a few advantages. Anyone with your card will not be able to find you. Your wins and disconnects in battle mode will be gone.

Kill time during the loading screen
When you start the game up and you select a character for gameplay, move the analog stick when the waves of light are coming towards you. This wount help you in any way but if your bored this what you want to do.

Take A Screenshot
Place a completely empty VMU in slot 2 of a controller that is plugged into port D. A screenshot requires 195 blocks of space. Start an online or offline game. Hold A + X then press Start on controller D to save the current screen. If done correctly, a black screen with a countdown will appear. The game will resume after the countdown, and the screenshot will be on the previously empty VMU. Avoid walking near traps and enemies
Normally, you cannot run when near a trap or enemy. To avoid this, press Start to display the main menu. You may now run again.

Secret Weapons
Sometimes you come across a wierd item like a "delsaber's left arm" or a "book of KATANA1" well these items are actually used to help Dr. montague create a weapon for you. First off, you need to get one of these items. Second you need to finish the Job "Doc's secret plan", where you go and fight enemies in the ruins "test areas". Then, after you complete all the missions, you can go back and do the Job called "Doc Osto's research" and on pioneer 2. Dr. montague should be wandering around - go talk to him and he will say something queer like "go find items in the ruins or mines for me to make a weapon". Just have the item in your inventory and talk to the doc and he'll say "hold on a moment", leave and then come back back with a new weapon. (like Delsaber's Buster)
